Purpose/Function

The brake fluid pressure sensor detects the fluid pressure from the master cylinder and transmits it to the DSC HU/CM.

Construction

The brake fluid pressure sensor is built into the DSC HU/CM. Therefore if there is any malfunction of the brake fluid pressure sensor, replace the DSC HU/CM.

Fail-safe


DTC No.	Fail-safe function
C0044:01	Illuminates the TCS/DSC indicator light. Tire pressure monitoring system warning light illuminates after flashes. (Not illuminated/flashed depending on malfunction content.) Inhibits the TCS, DSC, roll over mitigation (ROM), brake assist control, hill launch assist (HLA), and TPMS* controls.
C0044:28	Illuminates the TCS/DSC indicator light. Tire pressure monitoring system warning light illuminates after flashes. Inhibits the TCS, DSC, roll over mitigation (ROM), brake assist control, hill launch assist (HLA), and TPMS controls.
C0044:54
C0044:64	Illuminates the TCS/DSC indicator light. Tire pressure monitoring system warning light illuminates after flashes. (Not illuminated/flashed depending on malfunction content.) Inhibits the TCS, DSC, roll over mitigation (ROM), brake assist control, hill launch assist (HLA), and TPMS controls.
