Purpose/Function
The check fuel cap warning light is built into the instrument cluster.
If the PCM detects that the fuel cap is open, the light illuminates to warn the driver that the fuel cap is open.

Operation
The illumination condition of the check fuel cap warning light is as follows:
DTC P0457:00 is stored (PCM detects that fuel cap is open)
The PCM sends a check fuel cap warning light illumination request to the instrument cluster via CAN communication.
