Purpose, Function

The powertrain mechanism changes the gear combination by engaging or releasing the clutch hub and gear, and changes the power transmission route. Because of the change in the power transmission route, the drive force (speed, torque, rotation direction) input from the engine is converted.

Blind Spot Monitoring (Bsm) Control Module Removal/Installation
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable..
2. Remove the rear combination light..
3. Remove the rear bumper..
4. Disconnect the connector.
5. Remove the nuts.
6. Remove the BSM control module.
7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
8. Perform the BSM radar test..

Vanity Mirror Illumination Inspection
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable..
2. Remove the sunvisor..
3. Verify that the continuity between the vanity mirror illumination terminals
is as indicated in the table.
If not as indicated in the table, replace the sunvisor.
