Airflow inspection
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable..
2. Remove the CV solenoid valve..
3. Inspect airflow between the ports under the following conditions.

Continuity between A—B |

When voltage is not applied between terminals A and B |
Airflow detected |

When voltage is applied between terminals A and B |
No airflow |

If not as specified, replace the CV solenoid valve..

Should assume the voltage 12V
(D.C.).

Terminals A and B is nonpolar.

2. Remove the floor under cover (LH)..
3. Disconnect the evaporative hose No.2..
4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

a. Rear splash shield.
b. Rear combination light.
c. Rear bumper.

Pressure Control Valve Inspection [Skyactiv G 2.0]
1. Remove the pressure control valve assembly..
CAUTION:
Do not apply a pressure 36 kPa {0.37 kgf/cm2, 5.2 psi} or more. Doing so
will damage the pressure control valve and evaporative hose.
