Purpose

The passenger compartment temperature sensor detects the cabin temperature.
Function
-
The passenger compartment temperature sensor converts the detected temperature to an electric signal.
Construction
-
A thermistor-type passenger compartment temperature sensor has been adopted.

The passenger compartment temperature sensor is installed to the lower panel (driver’s side).
Construction/operation
-
The thermistor changes the resistance according to the surrounding temperature.
-
The resistance decreases if the temperature increases, and conversely increases if the temperature decreases as shown in the figure.
Fail-safe
-
Function not equipped.

1. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
2. Install in the reverse order of removal.
3. After installation, depress the brake pedal a few times, rotate the wheel
by hand, and verify that the brake does not drag.
