Function
The passenger compartment temperature sensor converts the detected temperature to an electric signal.
Construction
A thermistor-type passenger compartment temperature sensor has been adopted.
The passenger compartment temperature sensor is installed to the lower panel (driver’s side).
Construction/operation
The thermistor changes the resistance according to the surrounding temperature.
The resistance decreases if the temperature increases, and conversely increases if the temperature decreases as shown in the figure.
