Continuity Inspection

NOTE:

The down switch is built into the selector lever component.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable..

2. Remove the front console..

3. Disconnect the selector lever component connector.

4. Verify that the continuity between selector lever component terminals D and J.

If not as verified, replace the selector lever component..

Down switch specification


Test condition	Continuity
Selector lever is in the M position (?) side position.	Continuity
Selector lever is not in the M position (?) side position.	No continuity
