Purpose, Function

• Converts radio broadcast waves to electric signals and sends the signals to the audio unit.

Construction

• A center roof antenna has been adopted which does not require retraction or removal before going through an automatic car wash machine.

• The center antenna has an integrated antenna amplifier which amplifies the electric signal.

Operation

• When the ignition is switched to ACC or ON (engine off or on), power is supplied from the audio unit to the antenna amplifier inside the center roof antenna.

• The center roof antenna converts the received radio waves of a radio broadcast to an electric signal.

• The center roof antenna amplifies the converted electric signal using the antenna amplifier and sends the signal to the audio unit.

• Function not equipped.
